Me and the Piano

While piano may no longer be my main instrument, it was my very first. I started picking out melodies on the piano from a very young age. I was playing full tunes by the time I was 8. When I was around 12 years old, I was approached by a piano teacher in my area that wanted to sponsor me and give me private lessons. At my first piano recital, at 12 years old, I performed Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.

The knowledge and skills I have gained from the piano have greatly helped me in learning different instruments. I have used my piano skills almost everyday since I have learned how to play it.
